Mrs. Sarah E. Grimes, widow of the late George Grimes, passed away this morning at 10:30 o'clock. Mrs. Grimes resided
at 714 West Wabash Avenue and had been ill with cancer for some time. She was 67 years of age. The deceased is
survived by three children, the Rev. E.G.Grimes of Lawrenceville, ILL., Mrs. O. W. Oliphant of Topeka, Kansas, and Mrs. A.
B. Everett of this city. All were at the bedside when the end came. Mrs. Grimes was a member of the United Brethern
Church and was a highly respected woman. She was born and reared in Montgomery County where she had spent
practically all of her life. The funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock at Proffitt & Sons Chapel.
Elder Oliphant will have charge.
